
Rena Gardin
Rena Gardin is an American author, educator, and artist known for her contributions to children’s literature and literacy education. She holds a Master of Science in Literacy Education from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Maryland. With over 14 years of teaching experience, Rena has worked with children from Pre-K through third grade and runs a tutoring program called Mrs. Gardin’s Reading Rainbow, which helps children aged 3-9 develop essential reading skills.
As an author, Rena has written two children’s books. Larry Barry Learns a Lesson follows the story of an impulsive child who discovers the importance of kindness and respect, while Mr. Anything tells the tale of a boy named Joshua who finds a magical wishing well that allows him to transform into different beings, gaining new perspectives along the way.
In addition to writing and teaching, Rena is also a talented artist. Her artwork, which captures a variety of subjects and styles, is available for purchase on platforms like Fine Art America.
Rena currently resides in Cleveland, Ohio, with her husband and four children. She remains dedicated to fostering a love for reading and creativity in young minds through her books, tutoring, and artistic endeavors.
